Lightfoot appoints Tomorrow People to drive new positioning and lead generation content

Driver management solutions provider Lightfoot has appointed product marketing agency Tomorrow People to deliver a range of content and paid social media activity with the goal of lead generation.

Founded in 2013, hundreds of major companies across the UK now use Lightfoot’s innovative in-cab driver engagement and live coaching technology to boost fuel efficiency, improve their safety record, reduce accidents, and cut downtime. The current client base boasts leading brands such as Tesco, Asda, and Virgin Media.

Tomorrow People will develop a messaging and lead generation content program designed to demonstrate how Lightfoot’s solution differs from traditional retrospective telematics. This includes the creation of new brand positioning, the 5 steps to Elite Fleet Performance: Technology, Coaching, Engagement, Management, Results.

Alistair Norman, marketing director at Tomorrow People, said: “We see a great opportunity to help Lightfoot really differentiate from the traditional players in the market. We’ve hit the ground running in terms of delivering a strategy that ensures fleet managers understand the key concepts and value offered by Lightfoot.

The next step is to put content production into top gear, and create compelling content such as positioning guides, persona-targeted messaging, video case studies, and social content that delivers a steady stream of prospects.

The activity will be delivered by a team of strategy, editorial, design, digital marketing, and development specialists at the Tomorrow People agency, which serves global clients from its bases in Birmingham (UK), London, and New York City.

This latest partnership follows a number of recent client acquisitions for Tomorrow People, among them maritime data provider Lloyd’s List Intelligence (Informa). The agency’s international roster of clients also includes Castrol, Acquia, and Signicat.
