Leading cloud integration software company Matillion has appointed go-to-market agency Tomorrow People to conduct original market research, which will be used to improve product messaging and positioning.
After successfully raising $100 million in Series D funding earlier in February, the company has chosen Tomorrow People to deliver ideal persona insights for two products: Matillion ETL, a cloud-native data integration platform, and Matillion Data Loader, a free SaaS-based data pipeline manager. This will involve detailed recommendations on ideal customer characteristics (including motivations and pain points), as well as an assessment of key market trends affecting relevant personas.
The activity will be delivered by a team of strategy, editorial, design, digital marketing, and development specialists at the Tomorrow People agency, which serves global clients from its bases in Birmingham (UK), London, and New York City.
Alistair Norman, marketing director at Tomorrow People, said: “Our team is already working with Matillion to uncover key information needed for their next phase of growth.”
Corné Human, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Matillion, said: “Developing audience insights is no mean feat. It takes time and expertise, which is why we have chosen Tomorrow People to support our go-to-market strategy.”
